ERA UMA CASA, 2022

A forma como os portugueses fazem das ruas suas casas, desde o ato de estender suas roupas nos terraços, ou ficar a conversar na janelas, até disponibilizar seus pertences nos lixos para serem levados por quem necessita. Cenas que nos dão a sensação de termos pequenos cômodos efêmeros de uma(s) casa(s) nas esquinas da cidade, ao mesmo tempo que entramos na intimidade de pessoas que não conhecemos e através do nosso imaginário compomos histórias de vida.

IT WAS A HOUSE, 2022

The way the Portuguese turn the streets into their homes—from the act of hanging clothes on balconies or chatting by the windows, to leaving their belongings by the trash for those in need. These scenes give us the feeling of having fleeting little rooms of a home (or homes) scattered across the city’s corners. At the same time, we find ourselves stepping into the intimacy of strangers, piecing together imagined life stories from what we see.
