MEU JARDIM INTERNO, 2022 

Construo um mobile de elementos ordenados a partir de cinco ninhos abandonados no meu jardim, suspenso em fios de lã vermelha que teci usando técnicas de nós do macramê. Represento a família de onde vim ao mesmo tempo que dou continuidade a nova geração, colocando no interior de um destes ninhos um alto-falante que emite o som dos batimentos cardíacos dos meus filhos (obtidos através dos exames de ultrassom enquanto gestante), que se misturam ao som do toque de um tambor (instrumento usado há milênios por mulheres a fim de restaurar e reconectar com a essência).

MY INNER GARDEN, 2022

I build a mobile of ordered elements from five abandoned nests in my garden, suspended in red wool threads that I wove using macrame knot techniques. I represent the family I came from while continuing the new generation, placing a loudspeaker inside one of these nests that emits the sound of my children’s heartbeats (obtained through ultrasound exams while pregnant), which mixed to the sound of a drum (an instrument used for millennia by women to restore and reconnect with the essence).
