PAISAGENS LITERÁRIAS

A exposição Paisagens Literárias propõe uma combinação das séries Relicário, Promessas ao vento e tratados de amor e Fábulas, nas quais a artista Roberta Goldfarb expressa sua paixão pela literatura ao criar uma narrativa poética em sua obra Promessas ao vento e tratados de amor, transcrevendo promessas que são feitas, mas nem sempre cumpridas, utilizando uma antiga máquina de escrever como forma de evidenciar as diferentes intenções que permeiam a vida das pessoas.

Em Fábulas, Goldfarb revela, por meio da delicadeza de seus registros e da atenção aos detalhes, as consequências da perda de sua coleção de livros de arte devido à chuva, restando apenas as novas formas resultantes da transformação pela qual passaram. Trata-se de um registro sensível da modificação de sua coleção e do reconhecimento da fragilidade do papel, mas também do poder da mudança.

Por fim, em Relicário, a artista fotografa diversas paisagens que a transformaram ao longo de sua trajetória por 27 países e de sua experiência ao visitar diferentes culturas. O resultado se manifesta não apenas em seus registros fotográficos, mas também em diferentes caixas nas quais a artista reuniu objetos simbólicos desses países. A obra de Goldfarb revela um encontro entre seus processos literários e as paisagens visitadas ao longo de suas viagens.

LITERARY LANDSCAPES

The exhibition Literary Landscapes proposes a combination of the series Reliquary, Promises to the wind and love treaties and Fables, where the artist Roberta Goldfarb expresses her passion for literature by creating a poetic narrative in her work Promises to the wind and love treaties, transcribing promises that are made but not always kept, using an old typewriter as a way of showing the different intentions that permeate people's lives.

In Fables, Goldfarb shows, through the delicacy of her registers and attention to details, the consequences of the loss of her collection of art books due to the rain, leaving only the new shapes that resulted from the transformation they underwent. It is a sensitive register of the modification in her collection and the recognition of the fragility of paper, but also of the power of change.

Finally, in Reliquary, the artist photographs various landscapes that have transformed her throughout her journey through 27 countries and her experience visiting different cultures. The result is found not only in her photographic registers, but also in different boxes where the artist collected symbolic objects from these countries. Goldfarb's work shows an encounter between her literary processes and the landscapes she visited throughout her travels.
