PROMESSAS AO VENTO E TRATADOS DE AMOR, 2020


Pactos permeiam a história da humanidade, sendo travados em momentos de grandes mudanças como prova de um compromisso e apontamento de um caminho a seguir. Mas como toda promessa não há a garantia do seu cumprimento. Em decorrência de um vírus desconhecido, o mundo é forçado a estar confinado dentro de casa. Surgem naturalmente as promessas. Transcrevo esses pactos travados com seus filhos com a máquina de escrever da marca Corona.

Pacts permeate the history of mankind, being held in moments of great changes as proof of a commitment, and pointing out a way forward. But like any promise, there is no guarantee of its fulfillment. As a result of an unknown virus, the world is forced to be confined. Promises naturally arise. I transcribe these pacts made with her children using the Corona typewriter.

Vou tentar, mas ainda sou pequena;

Eu vou arrumar a bagunça;
Juro que vou te obedecer;
Você disse que ficaria comigo essa noite;

Quando você crescer vai poder;
Se der tempo, pode sim;
Se você se comportar;
Não vou mais pedir;
Juro que é a última vez que eu falo;
Eu sei que você consegue;
Promete que me chama se precisar de algo;
